Kacy has been receiving intensive training in contentious matters since traineeship. Her principal practice areas include complex cross-border commercial disputes, fraud, assets recovery, and cybercrimes. After joining OLN, Kacy utilizes her tax background and is now developing another practice in tax and has acted for domestic and global clients to handle different contentious and non-contentious tax matters.
Kacy adopts a hands-on approach in handling cases and, therefore, is highly trusted by high-net-worth PRC individual clients. Having an accounting background and being a qualified CPA, Kacy frequently assumed the important role of handling financial documents and forensic-related matters and could deliver practical advice to clients from commercial and legal perspectives.
Prior to transitioning into law, Kacy accrued professional experience as an accountant at a Big Four accounting firm and one of Hong Kong’s largest banks

Commercial Litigation / Fraud / Assets Recovery
- Acting for foreign victims in email or telephone fraud cases in taking out urgent injunction applications against Imposter and the 2nd Layer Recipients.
- Acting for minority shareholders-directors in taking out (i) unfair prejudice claims against the Company and majority shareholders–directors; and (ii) statutory derivate action against the wrongdoer director and recipients of the company’s funds including ListCo.
- Acting for corporations to enforce or defend the enforcement of foreign judgments in Hong Kong.
- Acting for a high-net-worth individual shareholder to commence an unfair prejudice claim against the BVI company and another shareholder in BVI commercial courts.

- Represented senior executives in lodging objections to estimated assessments and mitigating in criminal prosecutions.
