简介

Yan Chu is a Consultant at Oldham, Li & Nie, specializing in personal injury and insurance litigation.

Yan has extensive experience in insurance litigation including advice on policy disputes and interpretation, defence of claims involving personal injury, employees’ compensation, contractors’ all risks, motor liability and public liability.  Prior to joining OLN, she was a Consultant at a reputable and distinctively global law firm in Hong Kong, advising and representing insurers, as well as corporations including construction engineering and management companies, banking and financial institutions and public utility companies, for claims with large and sensitive losses.

Besides insurance litigation, Yan also has great knowledge and experience in arbitration and mediation, contentious probate, shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, criminal proceedings and industrial summonses.

Yan holds a Master’s Degree in Laws (Arbitration and Dispute Resolution), a Bachelor’s Degree in Laws and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences (Government and Laws) from the University of Hong Kong.
