Ann advises financial institutions, fund houses, investment managers, private equity investors and individual clients on their mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, hedge funds and private equity funds, including on formation, corporate maintenance, ongoing operations, restructuring, strategic exits and dissolution of a variety of investment structures and vehicles. 

Ann trained and practiced at the Hong Kong, London and Tokyo offices of DLA Piper, where Ann advised and assisted clients on capital markets and corporate finance transactions, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, financial regulatory compliance, initial public offerings, private equity investments, public takeovers and white-collar regulatory investigations.

Ann also has comprehensive offshore experience in advising and assisting clients on Cayman Islands law and British Virgin Islands law matters at Hong Kong offices of offshore law firms.

In addition, Ann assists clients on dependent visa applications to the Immigration Department of Hong Kong.
