潘競雄

Richard is a dually qualified lawyer in Hong Kong and New York with a focus on commercial litigation, construction, international arbitration and insolvency. He is developing a broad practice in civil litigation involving contractual, corporate and insolvency disputes, injunction application and asset tracing. He is also an Accredited General Mediator of the HKMAAL.

Richard has experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters. Before joining the legal industry, Richard worked as a civil engineer. He is a Chartered Engineer, and Members of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (CEng, MICE, MHKIE).

Richard has experience in a number of domestic and international arbitrations under the rules of HKIAC, ICC and CIETAC. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), and a committee member of the Young Member Group of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (East Asia Branch). He has sat as arbitrators in a number of international mooting competitions.

Richard is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
